Hey! Good to see you checking out who we are! It has been certainly a privilege to serve this congregation for now, over ten years!!! Since 2015, my position has been evolving, from being centered primarily around youth ministries – to be centered around discipleship and community life.
In the area of discipleship, I oversee all of our children and youth ministries, and also our growing ministry of Community Groups. Regarding community life, I have the opportunity to lead events both inside, and outside our Living Hope family.
Where I hope to grow professionally, and where I hope to see living hope grow – is understanding that ministry cannot remain in specific age silos. That ministry has to be done to and for the whole family unit. I hope to explore more deeply what that means for the families of Living Hope. Watch for events that cater to the whole family – like community event nights, and pizza and movie nights. Both are events that whole families are invited to, in order to grow in their faith together.
I am growing more and more certain about the partnership that Christ has invited us to partake in, as we journey alongside His will on earth. That partnership takes on quite the variety of looks – personal devotion & study, ministry involvement, community group attendance, church governance, and the mission of expanding the Kingdom here on earth. I hope to see our community discover this same partnership, and what it looks like for us as individuals, as well as us as a corporate body of believers.
I am married to my best friend, Pam, for over 13 years. I have three daughters (Tyana, Taryn, & Eden)! We live up on Sumas mountain, and love living our lives right here. I have recently graduated with a Masters of Christian Studies from Trinity Western Seminary, and am now ordained as a Commissioned Pastor within Living Hope.
If you have any questions about life, faith, ministries at Living Hope – do not hesitate to ask, as I love helping people connect their faith, their family, and their life!
