This year’s kick-off series is about being a community, and one of the ways to participate in community here at Living Hope is by joining a small group – are you part of one? It’s not too late to join this year!

While each group determines their schedule, we encourage our groups meet every two weeks. We also provide each group with material, though groups can choose other material if they prefer.

  • COMMUNITY

    5-Part Series – Fall 2025

    This fall we will be working through the curriculum from Practicing the Way using their teaching on Community. We chose to do this after receiving positive feedback about last year’s material on Sabbath. This will correspond with our kick-off series as we will begin the year preaching on the same themes that will be covered later in your small groups. Since your group does not meet weekly and most groups start meeting in October, this 5-part series will take us all the way to Advent/Christmas.

  • GLITTERING VICES

    7-Part Series – Winter 2026 (February 15) 

    There is a lot of misunderstanding around what sin is and how it really impacts our lives. And the problem is, if we don’t understand what it is we can end up focusing on the wrong parts, and we also can’t appreciate what Christ has done for us on the cross. For nearly 1600 years the church has used 7 different categories in understanding the roots of sin. Using scripture, we will explore these 7 vices and see how Christ is the ultimate response to this. We will be creating our own curriculum for this, and it will correspond with our Lent series starting in February.
