Living Hope still has some of that old-time, traditional feel, which we love. When others come and visit, we hear that they enjoy our more classic approach to our services. We have a pipe organ which is quite prominent above our stage. We also have a drum kit and a bass amp. We use them separately at times, and other times, all together.

Upon your arrival, you will be greeted at the door by people who are excited to see you. As you find your way through our foyer to our sanctuary, you will find ushers happy to point you in the right direction, whether you are looking for our welcome center, our children’s ministry sign-in, or a comfortable place to sit.

You will also see around you, people who are dressed in their best, and we love that. They do that because they want to honor the time and space of being in God’s presence. While also, you will find people who are wearing jeans and t-shirts, and we love that, too! They do so, because that is how they are comfortable. Each person has come as they are, desiring to connect with each other, and with God.

At many points through out the service, there will be prayer – some short, some longer, some spoken from the front, and others where we invite the congregation to join in with. We invite you to join us in these prayers, as you feel comfortable to.

Then there is this other part, where we take up an offering. No, it is not us asking you for payment for your hour with us. It is our way of inviting to you respond in thankfulness, to how God has blessed you. We take what you give us, and share with those in need, and to help make our church happen. Giving is certainly not a requirement of being here, but it is an opportunity for all of us to partner together in the work of Our Lord!
