Hi! My name is Ben Wimmers, and I am the Pastor of Youth and Family.

My role at Living Hope CRC is centered around what my position title indicates, the youth and families of this church. That means I am involved in all our ministries from infants to young adults, as well as providing support for families as they grow their faith and relationships together. Whether you are looking for a devotional to read after dinner, something thought provoking for your small group, or you have tough questions (either as parents or kids), then I am more than happy to come alongside you.

I have a can get lost for hours in a conversation on almost anything, but especially on two things in particular; eco-theology (subject of my masters thesis) and Lord of the Rings. I find the best place for such conversations are the local café or outside on a wild hiking trail.

My wife Kristina and I are also kept busy with our daughter Eleanor, and our exuberant pup Winnie. We enjoy family hikes and discovering the best local eats any given city has to offer (both in Canada and abroad).
