Lent is upon us — from March 2 to April 16. In some traditions, Lent includes the practice of giving something up. This year we are encouraging a slightly different angle in joining with the CRC’s ministry of the Office of Social Justice and their Climate Witness Project. We can do this by joining their 6 week challenge to envision how we can be better stewards of God’s creation through things like reducing our household waste, increasing our home efficiency, and other suggestions they have throughout the weeks. Each week there is also a bible passage, a challenge, and a reflection that you can do on your own or with your family.
