On Tuesday nights, from 7:00-8:45pm, we invite girls (grade 3-7) to enjoy an evening of relationship building, study, and fun activity!

GEMS season begins in October each year and runs through early May. For registration information, email the GEMS Coordinator.

This ministry has a rich history within our denomination, many of our female members grew up in this ministry. Here is a little more about it:

GEMS Clubs are offered in local churches all across the US and Canada.

The purpose of GEMS Girls’ Clubs is to bring girls into a living relationship with Jesus Christ. To help foster this all-important relationship between each girl and Christ, other relationships are nurtured as well – between the girls and with their counselor (leader).

Girls in clubs are organized into small groups with two volunteer leaders for each group of six to eight girls. It is through these small groups, and the weekly interactions that take place in the club, that faith is nurtured and developed, and long lasting friendships are made.

The ministry of GEMS Girls’ Clubs has been serving churches for over forty-four years. During these years, thousands of girls’ lives have been changed forever. Today, there are more than 21,000 girls who are members of GEMS Girls’ Clubs, with 5,200 women enthusiastically serving as their counselors and mentors.

Girls who are in grades 3-7 are invited to join. In this ministry, many fun and exciting things happen:

• Play games that work on team building
• Enjoy dynamic singing, creative movement, signing, and dance
• Develop important life skills through badge activities
• Learn how to apply the teachings of the Bible to your own life
• Make creative crafts for yourself and others
• Participate in service projects that really make a difference in other people’s lives
• Find answers to many of the challenges that girls face today

The ministry is non-denominational with club participation in several different denominations and non-denominational churches throughout the United States and Canada. Curriculum is developed from a reformed perspective.

The name GEMS Girls’ Club is an acronym which stands for Girls Everywhere Meeting the Savior. It clearly identifies the purpose for which the ministry was created.
